No. In order to receive the credit, you must complete the application process.

  • Step 1. Complete and submit the online GBC Application for Admission.
  • Step 2. Complete the online CTE College Credit Application.

  • Earn at least a 3.0 grade point average in the high school CTE program sequence (Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3)
  • Pass the End of Program Assessment (based on program standards)
  • Pass the Employability Skills for Career Readiness Assessments
  • Apply for CTE College Credit at Great Basin College and complete the General Application for Admission at Great Basin College

Great Basin College CTE College Credit can apply towards Certificates of Achievements, Associate of Applied Science, and Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in specific pathways.

You have up to 3 years to apply for CTE College Credit.

Earning college credit through CTE college credit is free! If students wish to receive a copy of their transcripts they must pay the $10 New Student fee.
