Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Technology
Program Overview
The Diesel Technology program prepares graduates with the skills needed to maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of equipment. Training includes mine-related equipment such as surface, underground, and exploration machinery, as well as over-the-road trucks and heavy equipment.
Students receive hands-on instruction using industry-standard tools and equipment, ensuring they are workforce-ready upon completion.
Program Mission
The mission of the Diesel Technology program is to prepare students for successful careers in the diesel and heavy equipment industries by providing comprehensive technical training and industry-recognized certifications.
Students can earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree along with up to 14 industry certifications embedded directly into the curriculum at no additional cost. These certifications are issued through NC3, and students receive digital badges to enhance their professional portfolios.
