GBC Career Pathways
What is a Career Pathway?
A career pathway is a clear sequence of educational coursework and/or training credentials that assists individuals in obtaining skills and credentials that help secure employment or advance in a career. Great Basin College provides multiple options for students to achieve their career goals. Students can choose a pathway that leads to a: Skills Certificate, Certificate of Achievement, Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree. Visit this page to view a list of programs and degrees available at Great Basin College at http://www.gbcnv.edu/programs/programs.html
How to Choose a Career Pathway?
Choosing a career pathway is different for each individual. If you already know your desired career or area of interest, apply to Great Basin College and register for classes at http://www.gbcnv.edu/admissions/
If you are not sure what career or field you'd like to pursue, consider exploring your areas of interest, strengths and skills through one of the self-discovery assessments offered at the Advising & Career Center office in Elko at http://www.gbcnv.edu/career/careerresources.html
