Welcome to GBC academic advising. As a GBC student, scheduling an appointment with an advisor is required for new students and highly recommended for transfer students. You will work with your advisor to ensure that you are meeting degree requirements and accomplishing your personal and academic goals. Advisement Centers Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm PT (Appointment Only).
Mary Swetich:
Monday and Thursday: 10 am -12 pm and 1:30-5 pm for phone and in-person advising (appointment
and drop in). Online advising available other days and times available by appointment
only. Email mary.swetich@gbcnv.edu to request a special arrangement.
Shemayne Pitts:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10 am - 4 pm PT (Appointment Only).
Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm PT (Appointment Only).
Monday through Friday 9 am - 3 pm PDST (Appointment Only). Please call 775-327-8200 if you need hours that are outside of our hours of operation.
